The Most Critical Aspect of Counseling is Having a Therapist You Can Relate To.

The most important factor in successful counseling is the relationship itself. Healing happens through genuine connection. That's why finding a therapist whose approach, style, and energy resonates with you is crucial. A strong, relatable bond is the engine that drives insight, promotes trust, and makes your therapy journey effective. I work hard to build true connection with each of my clients.

I didn't become a counselor because I've led a flawless life. Quite the opposite—I've made my share of mistakes. It's the hard-won lessons from those experiences, paired with a deep passion for supporting others, that inspired me to pursue this path. Counseling is my passion. I’m here to help.

Neuropsychotherapy is an integrative approach to counseling that combines the latest insights from neuroscience with evidence-based psychological therapies. Its core premise is that understanding the brain and nervous system is crucial for effective therapeutic change. In essence, it is a neurobiologically informed framework for psychotherapy.

Counseling shouldn’t be confusing. Here’s how we’ll work together.

STEP 1

The first step in counseling is establishing a trusting relationship. The therapeutic relationship is the essential foundation for the entire process. Together we will create an atmosphere that allows for rigorous honesty, free of judgment.

STEP 2

We will work together to identify negative thought patterns and behaviors while developing realistic, focused, and quantifiable goals that are grounded with a clear understanding of the brain.

STEP 3

Using the principles of neuropsychotherapy, we will develop actionable, evidence-based strategies and techniques that target brain function. We will work together to continually practice, adjust, and implement these techniques with a laser focus on quantifiable results.

Everything starts with a choice.
